Presently a Partner with LCA Capital, Carlos Rohm guides clients on behalf of this company, which strives to provide Latin American institutions and families access to global investment opportunities. LCA Capital also facilitates investments for U.S. investors in Latin American countries, specifically Mexico. Carlos Rohm has served in his current post since April 2008.
Prior to joining LCA Capital, Carlos Rohm served as Chief Executive Officer of HSM Americas, Inc. From 2003 to 2008, he managed, promoted, and organized leadership development events, including the World Innovation Forum, the World Science Forum, and the World Business Forum, which featured speakers including former President Bill Clinton, former GE CEO Jack Welch, Professor Michael Porter, and Professor Clayton Christensen. The focus of the programs is centered around leadership development, strategy, and innovation. In his supervisory role, he worked with a highly trained staff to promote conferences and professional events.
In 1998, Carlos Rohm joined J.P. Morgan Partners, LLC, which specializes in private equity. He managed and negotiated private equity investments and venture capital in Latin American countries. He also served as a board member for various companies. Previously, Mr. Rohm worked for Chase Manhattan Bank as an Associate, traveling frequently to Latin America, structuring bank loans for major Latin American corporations, and working directly with companies in Venezuela, Brazil, and Chile.
Originally from Argentina, Carlos Rohm was educated at a private Christian school that provided a college preparatory curriculum. His interest in business and economics led him to pursue a Bachelor of Arts at the Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
